There are about 17 recipes in this book and they all seem easy to understand and easy to follow because the directions are written so well. I just dislike that cake mix is an ingredient in quite a lot of the recipes, and some of them don't even specify which kind - it just asks for 1 package cake mix.I got a recipe book precisely because I want to learn how to do everything myself - from start to finish. But I can't complain, the recipes still seem good nevertheless.

Just okay. Nothing really new or exciting. Some recipes call for boxed cake mixes, which I don't even mind, but they really don't add much to it. The strawberry cake, for example, is just a yellow boxed cake mix with store-bought strawberry jelly between layers and whipped cream and fresh strawberries on top. Sounds yummy but I didn't need a cookbook to tell me how to make that. I got this book for free, though, so...
I want to add that I feel REALLY bad giving anything a public negative review. I'm only doing it because I would want to know stuff like this before I bother downloading a book. It was free. It's not terrible. But it's not great.
This book has a lot of good recipes for cakes. My wife particularly enjoyed making the cola cake for my cousin's birthday. I highly recommend this book.
I'm really impressed impressed with how well this book was written. Everything seems to be so organized. Time to impress your friends with your baking and use this book as your guide in making perfect cakes!
I recently celebrated my birthday without a birthday cake. Who does that?! Now, though, it's not too late to make one for myself (or ask a skilled friend to bake me one). I love this book!

I love to bake; from cakes, to cookies and you name it. This book on cakes has a variety of cake recipes that I will enjoy baking. Some of them are quite common like the brownie cake, carrot cake, chocolate cake, lemon cake and more. But there are some recipes I have not tried before such as the aromatic glazed cake, cola cake, pumpkin chocolate cake, tropical cake, and the one I like the most, the mixed fruit cake. In the next week I’ll be involved in a baking orgy that my family will surely enjoy a lot.
